The Transnet Home Group is moving up and out. We have just acquired a new treatment facility. Our new facility will be the high water mark for residential mental health/substance abuse treatment in the state of North Carolina. Our new 4 bedroom residential treatment facility will be named Sunrise Facility. A all encompassing name chosen to highlight our enlightened approach to providing a transitional mental health treatment program for adult men. A pathway of recovery that promises weekly community inclusion events ,which provides weekly trips to include bowling alleys, zoos, museums, parks, fishing areas, hiking paths just to name some of these inclusion events. We also include music and arts therapy as well as inhouse group and individual treatment discussions. Our team includes a highly Qualified QP with over 10 years experience with the target audience, A RN with over 20 yrs experience in Health care, A Treatment coordinator who holds a BA in Social sciences. We round out our treatment team with qualified peer support specialists as well as certified nursing assistants. We have dedicated our approach to residential mental health and substance abuse treatment as a laser focused pathway to acquiring recovery for those that truly need and want help. Our motto remains know one has to be a victim of their past they only have to choose to do better. By choosing to do better every day they are at there very best. We take adult men from where they are and transition them to becoming energetic and productive members of the community. Its our belief that better knowledge, grants better decisions thus yielding better out comes. This life is hills and valleys and it is how you handle life’s choices that determines whether you are granted the promise of rewards or suffer the misery of consequences.
We look to open our new facility in 2023 and will begin serving 5 adult men. We know as one door closes often God often opens a window to position us where he chooses us to be in his great plan. We eagerly await the destination God has for us as we continue the healing work of mental health and substance abuse treatment for 5 lives at a time.
The Transnet Home Group – Sunrise Facility is a Mental Health/Substance Abuse treatment facility located in the heart of Greensboro. This 5 bed facility serves male candidates between the ages of 21 thru 75 who suffer from mental illnesses and may additionally be combatting substance abuse issues.
The target clients for this facility are our veterans who have been traditionally under served in this community. We offer a 24/7 residential treatment facility which provides clean, comfortable housing , tasty and nutritious meals and transportation to all Doctor’s appointments and out patient programs. Internally, we provide an in house substance abuse milieu treatment program. Our overall mental health treatment program is individually designed for each client by our Qualified Professional(QP).
In addition, our certified staff includes a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) who manages all client’s medication and is a liaison between the clients and their physicians. We also staff a treatment coordinator who provides indivuals as well as group treatment events and classes for all our clients. The Transnet Home Group – Sunrise Facility is a home where each client participates in their own recovery. Our well maintained facility incorporates all the necessary tools to make recovery a reality.
